Soul Cafe

Soul Cafe is held every Wednesday night from 8:15 to 9:15(ish) here at First St. Paul's in the basement.

Is your soul hungry? Come and be fed.

Forum

Forum is held every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:25 a.m. Forum is FSP Youth primary time for Bible study and structured lessons. Forum, however, is much more than a youth leader lecturing.
Forum is discussion based. Students are encouraged to ask questions and challenge each other (and the leaders) in constructive ways. We recognize that faith is a journey, and that journeys are filled with moments of joy and despair, confidence and questioning. Through openness and honesty we hope to create an environment of safety where youth can grow in faith and love of Christ and one another.
The format of Forum is fluid. Forum involves prayer, games, music, activities, media, reflection time, and more.
FSP Youth Ministries envision students growing in awareness of the Bible and the story of salvation. We desire our students who participate in Forum to engage the mystery of Christ in such a way that the Holy Spirit will guide their actions and choices in everyday life and circumstances.

Christian Underground

Located in the newly renovated basement, Christian Underground is a place of safety and security where students become ministers. In aworld where society pulls youth in such a variety of directions, Christian Underground offers a place where students come together and find their center, their direction. Check out our weekly Christian Underground programs, Forum and Soul Cafe, as well as the occasional concert and special event.

Music

The Christian Underground is a stellar music venue, complete with a stage and wired for lights and sound. We've had a number of concerts, with admission ranging from a can of food to free. We have assisted with Hastings College's Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, hosting concerts and information booths. Stay tuned for information about future concerts and events coming to the Christian Underground.

Ski Trip Recap

The Ski trip was a blast! We helped at Food Bank of Rockies packing meals for the Denver area and got a first hand look at an organization that puts food in bellies at a humongous scale. They are truly doing the work of Christ. We had many spills on the mountain too, but over all we grew in faith and together as friends, brothers and sisters. Thank you to the congregation for their support!
