We believe the Bible is clear in its call to go and make disciples, as we share the Gospel!
Mission opens our eyes to see people the way God sees them and challenges us to rely on the strength of the Lord in new ways. Mission begins in our community! Through financial support and feet on the ground, the members of First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church partner with several local service and mission organizations throughout the year.
We also believe that mission extends beyond our community. We support members of all ages as they pursue national and international missions. If you have a heart for mission or are feeling a call to “Go,” contact the Church Office to learn about opportunities or share your vision!
In the Summer of 2026, our Jr. High (current 7th & 8th graders) will be going back to Lutheran Valley Retreat to help with AbleLight! They will spend the week serving alongside the people with special needs and help the LVR camp with their needs around the property, while enjoying time out in God’s creation and growing in their faith.
Sr. High (current 9th-12th graders) will be traveling to Rincón, Puerto Rico, with the purpose of sharing Christ’s love through service and compassion!! Students will partner with local churches and ministries to support communities still facing ongoing challenges. Projects may include home repairs for elderly residents, working in sustainable gardens and orchards to promote local food production, preparing and delivering meals to those in need, and participating in outreach opportunities such as kids’ ministry and beach clean-ups. Each task—big or small—offers a chance to make a tangible impact and to serve others with open hearts. As we work alongside our Puerto Rican neighbors, we’ll witness God’s presence in new ways and grow together in faith and purpose.
These mission trips help to strengthen faith, build lasting relationships, and inspire ongoing service and generosity, creating a ripple effect of positive change both locally and globally.
